Dr Jonathan Lloyd
Professional Biography
Dr Jonathan Lloyd, is a Canadian‑born General Practitioner who moved to Australia in 2010 to study medicine at the University of Wollongong, completing his medical degree in 2014. After finishing medical school, he successfully completed both the United States Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE) and the Canadian medical licensing examinations before choosing to continue his medical career in Australia. He undertook his internship in Townsville, followed by RMO years working with Indigenous communities in remote Far North Queensland, based out of Mount Isa. He later completed advanced training in acute surgery, trauma and transplant medicine at the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane before relocating to Tasmania in 2017. In 2019, he achieved dual fellowship with both the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) and the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC).
From 2018 to 2025, Dr Lloyd’s primary role was as a General Practitioner at City Doctors & Travel Clinic in Hobart, where he also managed the clinic throughout the COVID‑19 pandemic. Over the past four years, he has developed deep expertise in workers’ compensation medicine, gaining considerable experience in managing complex cases and optimising patient recovery pathways. He has a strong understanding of the practical and administrative challenges involved in coordinating care among multiple parties, including insurers, return‑to‑work providers, employers, and legal representatives, and works closely with all stakeholders to ensure smooth communication and the best possible outcomes for injured workers.
Alongside this primary work, he also held several secondary clinical and teaching roles: from 2021 to 2023, he served as the House Medical Officer at St. Helen’s Private Hospital, worked as a plastic surgery assistant, and practised part‑time at Sanctum Medical Aesthetics. He has played an active role in medical education, serving as an RACGP Primary Supervisor and IMG Supervisor, successfully guiding six candidates through to fellowship. Additionally, he served as a Clinical Tutor for the University of Wollongong Medical School from 2014 to 2025, supporting the development of medical students across both pre‑clinical and clinical years.
In July 2025, Dr Lloyd founded Entity Medical Hobart, a purpose‑designed modern general practice, with the goal of making a fresh new practice that focuses on patient needs and timely access to care.
On his days off he likes hanging out with his two dogs (Kevin & Barry) and taking on DIY projects around the house where he is known for his ability under ordering materials to facilitate extra trips to Bunnings.

Dr Sacha Rose
Dr Sacha Rose grew up in Hobart and graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University of Tasmania in 2016.
Following graduation, she completed the Diploma of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (DRANZCOG) before commencing General Practice training in 2019. Dr Rose achieved her Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2022.
Dr Rose commenced work with Allergy Tasmania in 2021 and has developed a strong interest in the investigation and management of a broad range of allergic conditions. She particularly enjoys the assessment and treatment of allergic rhinitis and food allergies, alongside providing comprehensive general practice care.
Outside of work, Dr Rose enjoys camping, running, and adventuring with her young family.
